Brother first started when Kanekichi Yasui the Yasui Sewing Machine Company in 1908. Between 1908 and 1934 the company grew supplying domestic sewing machines until they became Nippon Sewing Machine Manufacturing Company (now Brother Industries, Ltd.). The Brother HL-2700CN (or HL2700) can print upto 31ppm for black and 8ppm in colour. The Brother HL-2700CN takes 4 printer cartridges, Black (TN04BK), Cyan (TN04C), Magenta (TN04M), Yellow(TN04Y). The black toner cartridge can print upto 10,000 pages on average whilst each colour can manage 6,600 pages on average per cartridge.
