The Canon iP4200 takes a high capacity black ink cartridge (PGI-5BK) or Canon No.5 and a low capacity back ink cartridge (CLI-8BK). It also takes one of each colour ink cartridge, Cyan (CLI-8C), Yellow (CLI-8Y) and Magenta (CLI-8M).
